Since 2010 we have experienced all the feelings of joy, worries, sadness , living together with our dog, Rama.

I am passionate about pets and health insurance, as I have witnessed the benefits you can receive with these plans.

In 2015, I had to handle a stressful situation when my adopted dog, Rama, suffered from GDV, a life-threatening condition, and I had to seek emergency treatment.

When the doctor informed me about the approximate cost and the potential risks of the surgery my dog had to undergo, it was the moment that the idea for Petshealth was born in my mind.

I had to do something to prevent any pet parent from being in such a stressful situation and to protect them by relieving the financial burden of vet expenses.

In 2016, I was part of the initial team of SAFE PET, launching, for the first time in Greece, pet health services for dogs and cats in a preferred veterinary network.

In 2021, I served as a non-profit advisor to a pet insurance provider that launched a pet insurance plan for dogs for the first time.

In 2023, I passed the CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) exams for PL4: Introduction to pet insurance, and in May 2023, Petshealth was launched.
